Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and what choices you have. We try to keep it short.
What we collect
When you visit the site:
- Pages viewed and time spent (anonymous analytics)
- Approximate location (city level, derived from IP)
- Browser and device type
- UTM parameters and referring URL when you arrive via ad or link
- A locally-stored visitor ID we generate (so we can stitch multiple visits together for attribution; no personal info attached)
When you book a service:
- Name, email, phone (for booking confirmation)
- Payment information (processed and stored by Stripe; we never see or store credit card numbers ourselves)
- Booking details (dates, services, special requests)
When you sign up for our newsletter:
- Email address only
- Unsubscribe link on every email
How we use it
- To process bookings — share booking details with the relevant provider so they can deliver the service
- To send transactional emails — confirmations, cancellations, receipts
- To send our newsletter — only if you opted in; unsubscribe any time
- To improve the Platform — analytics tells us which pages help users find what they need
- To measure marketing effectiveness — server-side conversion tracking (Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, TikTok Events API, Pinterest Conversions API) lets us evaluate ad spend without relying on browser cookies that get blocked
Who we share data with
Only the parties strictly necessary to operate the service:
- The independent provider you book with — your name, email, phone, and booking details
- Stripe — for payment processing (Stripe Privacy)
- Postmark / SES — for transactional and newsletter email delivery
- Ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest) — hashed email + booking event for conversion attribution. You can opt out via your ad preferences on each platform.
- Plausible / Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics
We do not sell your data to third parties. Period.

Cookies + local storage
We use minimal cookies:
tg_visitor_id— anonymous browser session identifier (no personal info)tg_utm— captured UTM parameters from your arrival URL- Third-party pixels (Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest) — only placed if you don't have tracking blocked
We don't use cookies for advertising retargeting outside of the first-party visitor stitching described above.
Children's privacy
The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with information, please email support@tendground.com so we can delete it.
Data retention
We keep booking data for 7 years (US tax + accounting compliance). Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is anonymized and retained indefinitely in aggregate form.
